Updated 1 November 2026. This guide covers the ISolar-SMH-III-6.2KW-WiFi, using the SMH-III manual linked by EASUN. Check the complete model on your unit: similarly named blue 6.2 kW inverters can have different specifications.
This is a review of manufacturer documentation, not an independent performance or long-term reliability test. Current marketplace prices and the selected variant of any particular listing have not been verified.
The unit combines an inverter, solar charging and AC battery charging. The manual describes generator input, an LCD configuration menu and communication ports labelled Wi-Fi/RS-232 and battery RS-485. A connector alone does not guarantee compatibility with every battery BMS, logger or application; verify the supported protocol and the accessories supplied with your exact version.
Program 01 chooses the output-source priority. Program 02 limits combined charging current. Program 03 selects the accepted AC-input range. Program 05 selects the battery type; the manual links user-defined charging and cutoff values to programs 26, 27 and 29.
For a LiFePO4 pack, use the battery manufacturer’s voltage and current limits, BMS requirements and the matching inverter instructions. Do not copy lead-acid defaults or equalization settings into a lithium setup. Firmware and hardware revisions can change available options. This guide concerns off-grid operation; it is not a grid-export configuration guide.
Combining several functions can simplify a small system, but the purchase price is only one part of the cost. Compare warranty and return arrangements, documentation, battery compatibility, starting loads, cooling noise, protective equipment and installer support.
The manual’s 50 W no-load rating deserves attention in a small cabin: if that draw persisted for 24 hours, it would use 1.2 kWh. This is an arithmetic illustration, not a measured result for your unit. The quoted 93% is a peak rating, not an efficiency guarantee at every load. A dispatch warehouse in Poland would not by itself establish manufacturing origin or warranty service.
